Detailed programme:

We depart at 800 from Budapest. We travel continuously to Eger.

We take a classic walk with sightseeing and we look at the sights of the Baroque Eger: Lyceum, Basilica, Kossuth Lajos Street, Nagypréposti Palace, memorial of the Grand Book (Géza Gárdonyi: Stars of Eger), County Hall, Doors of Fazola, building of the prison, the Buttler house, we go for a walk near the castle (Dobó street), Minaret, sights of the Dobó square, the minorite church, Széchényi street (the Archiepiscopal Palace). Our tour is 2,5 hours.

City under the city: we got to know the Baroque City after the expelling of the Turks, then we go to the cellar system and we can look at the city in genre-painting, in interactive scenes, effects of light and sound. We can review the hostory of Eger from 1004 (the foundation of bishopric) to 1687 (expelling of the Turks).

After the sightseeing we travel with small train and arrive to the Szépasszony valley where we drink a glass of wine, after we return to the centre of the city. Duration: 2 hours. Admission tickets: small tickets and a glass of wine.

You have a free time in the centre of city at 1800

We start back for Budapest at 1800. We arrive at 2000
